The problem is while she is playing the game system turns off. She is able to turn it back on again, but it's quite frustrating it turning off in the middle of game play every time. There are glitches in this system so be careful before you buy it. I have read that many others have had the same problem. Also for the price all the extras should be included already. He was very excited to get an electronic toy. It didnt last a week. We cant get past entering the user game, so he cant play at all. I sent it back to the store who then told me to write to the manufaturer, because it passed too much time from the original purchase. We never got a satisfying explanation or a replacement. My son is still asking when is his leapster going to be fixed. After this experience a new one is out of the question. Immediatly after turning it on he was directed to the pre-installed game which seemed entirely inappropriate for kids. It's a dragon game with a very scary villian saying he 'hates' the sun and has a scary laugh. I know this may not seem so bad to many parents but to us it was awful. We try hard to not expose our kids to ugly monsters, dragons, and evil and were dissappointed to see that Leapster would have this as a standard game on their Leapster. We have returned this Leapster and are going to just order the other version so as to aviod this game. I purchsed the Leap Frog Leapster 2 as gifts for my grandson, nieces and nephew.

They are still enjoying and learning with every touch – never had a problem with anything.

The best thing since sliced bread no hussle and bussle of the crowds can shop at anytime and it be delivered right to my door how convenient is this.

I recommend Amazon to everyone

The first game is just a digital art game -- simple but innocent. The second game is the reason we took it back. It is supposed to be a learning game where the Dragons collect crystals and answer questions to build words or numbers. But at the beginning there is a mean storm cloud that evily says, "I HATE the sun and all the pretty colors." He goes on to laugh wickedly. I guess I assumed the pre-installed games would be Tad and Lily and Professor learning to spell or something like their videos. I called customer service to see if the games could be removed, but was told they can't be. My husband and I both thought it was inappropriate for our five year old daughter.
